She had such mixed feelings about the whole thing. Of course she wanted it over, she wanted Sam back home and the threat of a dangerous demon gone. But the price was so high, and there were mountains and mountains of risks. But maybe something else would come up. Maybe there would be another way. She was sure that the others were working on it, they had to be. And she was going to do whatever she could to help, hopefully without getting anyone killed. Wishful thinking, yes, but Heather had to give that part of her brain a chance to run wild every so often.
She didn't say anything else about that, though. She'd already said what she wanted to on the subject, and she could only hope that he'd put some thought into her words. Maybe he would change his mind and try go a safer, less hostile route.
Instead, she let herself continue to soak in the whole marriage thing. That definitely made her heart feel a little lighter. It would be a lot better once this was all over with, but she would take what she could get for now. And what he'd revealed to her? It was more than enough for the moment.
"Yeah. You're right," she replied, still sniffling a bit even though she'd stopped crying earlier. "Don't want them worrying something happened to me." She reluctantly turned back to the vehicle and climbed inside.
