"Too risky," Gabriel said with a teasing hint in his voice as he stepped into the kitchen. He was quietly relieved at finally getting to leave his room. It might have only been downstairs, but when you'd spent weeks in the same four walls, a different set of walls was a wonderful. "Unless we stick him over in the same isolation corner that Nathan is going to be in."
Slipping over, Gabriel snagged one of the aprons, pulling it on as he smiled at the two of them. It wasn't the first time he'd seen Sarah face to face since what had happened, but... It was the first time he'd actually seen Peter since... No point in thinking about that. The buzzing was still there in his head, but it was quieter than it had been, not nearly as strong. Apparently the advice that Oracle had given him had actually had some merit. The meditation seemed to have quieted the worst of his mind, at least, for the time.
