Allana listened, her expression a sympathetic one. Amelia really had made a mess of things, hadn't she? With a soft sigh that was only really noticeable to those who knew to look for it - a sure sign that she was most definitely not pleased with the situation - she gave a slight shake of her red locks. Her gray eyes cut to her mother, her tone even as she replied without flinching.
"For a very long time, Amelia Solo was the center of her own galaxy, mother. Both by you, as well as my grandparents. Everything was customized to suit her, rather than the other way around." She offered a caring, gentle smile to lessen the blow of her words, but not the truth. No, she spoke nothing but that.
"It was with the best of intentions, of course. And I'd like to think that girl did, ultimately, turn out well enough. Yet it doesn't change the simple fact that she was allowed to be her own person with no repercussion or apologies necessary." She then looked to Jacen.
"Within limits, however, and it's as she's passed these limits one by one that she's become more lost. You look at her and see an insolent brat with no respect for authority. I know, however, that she's extremely conflicted and has yet to learn how to properly handle such emotions as they were never prevalent in her life before now." She gave another bemused shake of her head and glanced out toward the park, and the people passing by enjoying the nice weather.
"If only Ben were here..." she mused softly then looked back to her mother. "Yes," she answered. "At some point, I'll leave and Amelia will return. Hopefully with a better understanding of her own emotions and with a better control of them. We shall simply have to see, unfortunately. Contacting her is impossible."
