Jacen's frown was quite pronounced, as was his great irritation. "Audibly, inaudibly, lightsaber out at the merest syllable of the name 'Allana'. She's intractable about it, and expects everyone to give in to her on it. The fact that I refuse to give in probably helped damage what communications we had."
His scowl became more pronounced. "Your name is Allana. The second part of your name...the 'ana'....it's for Anakin. Tenel Ka named you so that you would always carry a piece of Anakin with you. Hearing you so completely reject your name....to hear you reject Anakin...."
Falling silent, Jacen fixed his attention on a nearby fountain. It wasn't much of a fountain. It was a crude little stone block with a metal bowl and a spout. But he stared at if as if all the answers to the universe would come from it if he stared hard enough.
