A bemused expression crossed Allana's face at the mention of Jaina, and Jag. "Well, my cousin never was one for getting himself in the middle of issues rife with emotion rather than logic," she remarked, thoroughly unsurprised he had opted not to come. Her smile grew a bit at the question and she nodded.
"I'd like that very much, thank you," was her soft reply as she took a seat beside him. It was strange, she thought. Most of her life all she could remember wanting was a chance to speak to Jacen, to spend time with him even though it was impossible to do so. During her youth, her anger at him had fueled that desire, but at some point - between her years of training under Ben Skywalker and her conversations with Tenel Ka in preparation of taking her rightful place as Queen Mother someday - Allana had come to terms with many of her issues with Jacen and had simply settled for yearning to spend time with him as she was now, rather than as the small child she'd been when he'd died.
Now, however, that she was being given that chance... she truthfully couldn't think of a single thing to say. So after a few seconds of silence that threatened to become uncomfortable if she didn't say something, she finally opted to simply speak the truth. It may be rife with emotion, but at least it was honest and she couldn't be told she was wrong for saying it.
"I've missed you."
Three simple words, and ones she spoke quite often to other family members courtesy of a life spent focused on Hapes with room for little else in between, yet they spoke volumes.
