Allana had spent the previous evening in Amelia's bedroom, although she'd actually gotten very little sleep. She'd been far too busy going through her younger self's belongings in the hopes of seeing for herself just what the teenager had been up to as of late. Granted the brief, if slightly surreal, conversation that they'd had in the seconds before Allana had arrived in L.A. had filled in a few gaps. But those were also from Amelia's point of view, and Allana was hoping for something a little more neutral.
The next morning, armed with what few facts she'd managed to gleam from Amelia's computer's hard drive, Allana left the Hyperion without the intention of returning. She wasn't a part of this group, nor did she want to develop any sort of relationships with anyone there. She wasn't here to stay, simply see the intent of this spell through, and none of that could be done within the walls of the hotel.
Spotting Jacen easily as she crossed the path in front of the building, Allana did allow herself a moment of emotion at the sight of a man she hadn't thought she'd see again. Granted there were some mixed emotions when she thought of Jacen Solo and the mark he'd left on the galaxy. However, above all else he was her father, and he'd given his life so she could live. So no matter how many other issues she may have with his life choices, he would always be a hero to her, and someone she loved and missed daily.
"You came alone."
It seemed like such a simple greeting given the complexity of the circumstances, but Allana often commented on the obvious when she simply found herself uncertain what else to say. Although with a smile that was much lighter than any Amelia had given him to date, she did add, "I'm assuming it isn't going to remain that way for long?"
