Tonks's jaw dropped so impressively that she was certain it had actually hit the floor. "Wicked cool," she muttered, reaching out to brush her fingers against the axe to confirm that it was, in fact, real.
It was interesting, Tonks marveled. The other woman seemed to be more than a little familiar with the traditional spells and wand use, yet she herself didn't use them, nor did she need to. Never mind the fact that Tonks was incredibly jealous at the moment.
"Where were you trained?" she asked at last. An unconventional wizarding school would certainly begin to explain some things, especially the comment she had made about knowing nobody else who used a wand to perform.
A thought occured to her, though, and the Auror had to chuckle. "Wandwork can look rather impressive, but I wouldn't recommend attempting it. With all of that power, and a wand to channel it on top of that...I don't imagine the results would be very pretty."
