"Nope, never needed one. I just started doing magic one day and kept right on doing it," Willow answered with a small shrug of her shoulders. A brief moment of thought and she added, "Actually, nobody I knows uses a wand. I guess magic is just... different, here?"
Now that she thought about it, that had to be it. Since Harry Potter - and therefore Tonks - wasn't real, their version of magic was completely different from the version Willow knew. Maybe there, she'd be normal and not so powerful.
Or I'd be even stronger than Voldemort. Which would be bad.
"I don't always use Latin, either," she stated. "Like..."
Holding out her hand, palm upward, she stared at the axe hanging on the wall across the lobby. "Come," she stated in what could almost pass as a casual tone and the axe suddenly appeared in her hand. She wrapped her fingers around the handle and lowered the weapon to the ground, smiling at Tonks once more.
"I still think using a wand would be great, though. I mean, all those movements look so neat!" she said excitedly. The grass, really, did seem greener on the other side.
