The sun was out. This was bad. Angel was gone. This was also bad. Really, there wasn't a whole lot of good to go around, as far as Willow was concerned. It was only a matter of time before the city all but crumbled as the demons began to run wild. Yeah, she could take out a good chunk of the vamps with a few well-timed spells but, really, the big issue was getting the sun to work again. And that was one issue that Willow had no idea how to contend with.
She was trying though. For the past six hours or so she'd been at the computer, fingers clicking away rapidly at the keys as her hazel orbs scanned every sentence that popped up on the monitor. Her eyebrow were drawn together and a light frown played on her face as she searched in vain for anything that might help reverse what had been done.
She had just given up and decided to take a small break - heading into the kitchen for some much needed coffee - when she heard someone calling from the lobby. Willow didn't remember seeing anyone else working the front area so she turned around and headed back into the room, flashing a smile at the woman standing there. She barely batted an eye at the hair except to think, How... pink!, instead focusing on greeting the newcomer and hopefully not making too big of an idiot out of herself in the process.
"Oh, uh, hi!" she offered a little wave before dropping her arm back to her side. "Welcome to Angel Investigations. Is there something I can help you with?" Okay, so it wasn't as snazzy as Cordelia's carefully prepared speech, but Willow wasn't supposed to be the greeter. It wasn't exactly her strong suit.
