Cordelia listened carefully to what he said. It was possible she was paying even more attention now, than before when she'd thought she was connecting with "Jason". After all, if he wasn't outright lying to her, she was getting a personal glimpse into his actions throughout Los Angeles. Considering he was clearly an enemy, that was some nearly priceless information.
So she listened, nodding at the appropriate times and offering a smile at his comment about burning the paperwork. Boy could she relate to that.
Except, she didn't want to relate to that, or him. At all. Mentally kicking herself to stay focused, she gave a bit of a shrug of her bare shoulders. "Same stuff, different day. Although I officially lost a team member today which is always tough."
Casually she took a sip of her drink, hazel gaze sliding to the surface of the glass. "Although you may already know that, since you know her." Her gaze snapped back to him, her pleasant expression turning as hard and cold as ice right before his eyes.
"After all, Amelia is your daughter, isn't that right... Caedus?"
