Cordelia's smile never faltered as she took her seat, the slit in her skirt sliding back to reveal just the right amount of thigh as she crossed her legs and rested her hands in her lap. "You look great," she replied, honestly. He did look good. In fact, him looking as good as he did was part of what was making this so tough on her. She was most definitely attracted to him and that made staying away difficult.
"So how have you been?" she asked as she reached for the drink he'd ordered her. She didn't take a sip but instead wrapped one hand around the glass and allowed the chill to help keep her a bit more focused. She couldn't afford to forget why she was here, or let her anger simmer to the point that it fizzled out entirely.
Of course, one thought of him using anything she'd told him in confidence - especially in the bedroom and during moments of intimacy between them - to harm someone she cared about or even the people of this planet in general was enough to bring her anger back to the forefront. She kept it hidden still, though, as she waited for him to answer... and for the perfect moment to strike.
