The small girl watched intently as her new friend tried his hand at the game, not really expecting him to win anything. Weren't these games usually rigged, or something? You usually had to spend as much as the prize itself to win it, and the only thing they were usually good for was fueling addictions.
Disbelief flashed over her features, quickly replaced with an overwhelming sense of joy for him. "Wow, Hiro! You won! My dad never won one of these!" she exclaimed as the man handed the soft toy over to Hiro to brag over.
Chirio harrumphed, realising that now it was her turn to show the boy up and handed her money over to the guy and took the rings off him. "No big deal, I can win something. Easy." Narrowing her eyes, she leaned forwards a little to get a better throw in and tossed her first ring at a larger soft toy one row up. Tragically, it missed, leaving Chihiro feeling inept. The second ring also missed, and the third ring couldn't have gotten any further from the soft toy. The poor girl ended up hitting the guy running the game square in the face and she gasped dramatically, tears threatening to pour. "I'm really sorry, sir! I didn't mean to hit you! I just wanted the toy!"
