Any other time she would have snapped to him not to roll his eyes at her but for some reason didn't at that moment, choosing just to copy him and roll her eyes right back at them. She had to resist the urge to comment on what he was mentioning, knowing it would cause an argument.
Hermione looked on in worry, scared for a second that the charm wouldn't work and he'd never let her forget that. When the pieces moved when they were told, she smiled a little to herself. However, when his gaze locked on hers and he grinned, she automatically gave him a proper smile, her face flushing a little.
"Maybe you should read more often, you could find out more like that."
Her smile began to fade as she cringed a little. She was reluctant to meet his eye, going even redder.
"To be honest I really don't know much other than the name of the pieces."
