She had always disliked the monologuing villains in cinema tended to do. She didn't understand the point of talking about every damned little thing before taking action. Quips and clever turns of a phrase were fine in their place, but Bela liked to shoot first and ask questions later. Bela dropped the sack of crystals to the floor, freeing her left hand and grabbed the gun strapped to her thigh.
"Don't try to move, you'll only hurt yourself," Bela said, nodding towards Ruby. She looked at Faith next, turning the gun towards her. "You? Get the hell away from my safe." And just in case the woman needed any encouragement, Bela fired off a shot aimed at her shoulder. It was convenient the way she'd handed the gun to the demon.
