Who: Bela, Ruby, and Faith What: It's about to be a what? Girl fight! When: Sunday afternoon Where: A few blocks away from Bela's main flat Status:incomplete/Probably PG-13
Bela disliked parking garages when she was on the defensive. They made her feel watched… paranoid. She was overly conscious of the fact that she was looking over her shoulder as she reached into the passenger seat of her Audi and pulled out the sack of crystals she'd just stolen from the auction house. They were useless to the average human, but she had a buyer –a witch—who she knew would put them to use. Bela almost felt sorry for the target of the spells the crystals would be used to amplify, but only almost. The thirty thousand dollars being handed over for the job cleared up any nagging doubts.
She shut the car door and looked around the parking garage again. Even everyday security cameras put her at unease in a situation like this. Parking garages were simply too enclosed, too dark, too shadowed… too much constructed with concrete slabs that a body could be thrown against. Bela let out a small grunt of annoyance as she made her way towards the exit. Even with word out that her flat had been robbed (it hadn’t), that her most prized possessions had been taken (they hadn't), and that she blamed demons (she didn't), Bela was still tense with worry. It wasn't even necessarily that someone would come for the Colt that bothered her anymore. No, her thoughts had somewhat moved on. There was plenty else to worry over, like Lilith.
The gun strapped to her side wasn't going to help in any situation involving Lilith, but it certainly made her feel better that it was there.
She felt secure when the sun was shining down on her face and she'd nodded to the guard who sat in the booth just outside the garage. He nodded back --looking slightly confused at the short black wig she wore-- before she continued on her way down the street towards her flat. She was thinking perhaps a bath and then a drive down to the beach to case the next house she planned to rob. Either way she needed to relax, and she preferred to do it inside the protection of her Devil's Trap and salt covered home.
