Jaina followed after him, eyebrows rising in surprise at the remodeling that the training area had clearly undertaken since the last time she'd been here. She had to admit, she was impressed. She probably shouldn't be too shocked, considering this was the headquarters of the team that protected the city on a daily basis. Yet she was definitely impressed at the selection available.
Her brown eyes locked onto him when he spoke again, lips curving slightly into a smirk as she took the sword from him. Her brow furrowed slightly as she studied it, twisting her wrist to examine it from each angle. "You're the expert," she remarked, gaze sliding back to him and her smirk turning into more of a smile.
"So, what do I do first?"
In all honesty, it had been a while since Jaina had needed much instruction on the art of dueling. However she had always been a good student, if a bit arrogant at times. Fortunately most of her arrogance had faded since her youth, and what hadn't had all but been eradicated by having her Aunt Mara for her Master. So she was hoping, even though her ability to follow directions might be a bit rusty, that this would go much smoother than it would have were it taking place a decade or so earlier in her life. And, of course, she imagined it didn't hurt that she was typically a pretty quick study, either. Something told her this man wouldn't appreciate an idiot for a pupil.
