Truth be told, Cordelia wasn't quite sure how to handle this entire Faith situation. She knew that the formerly rogue Slayer needed help. She realized that the girl was addicted to something she couldn't just walk away from without that help. The only problem was, she didn't really know how to help.
But that didn't stop her from taking the first step toward acting like she did.
Sitting at her desk, information about Orpheus on her computer screen, she was well aware when Faith first arrived at the door as well as how long it took for her to actually step inside. At the greeting, she glanced up from the computer and nodded, motioning absently toward one of the chairs across from her.
"Yeah, have a seat," she replied, before using her mouse to minimize the window. Taking a deep breath she exhaled slowly, then turned away from her computer to face the other woman.
"So," Cordelia began, her expression as neutral as her tone, "I'm going to ask you this one time and one time only. I want you to be honest with me." She paused, briefly, as she arched a brow and locked her gaze fully on Faith.
"Can I trust you around the people in this hotel?"
