With some light shed on the situation, the jeep looked even worse coming off its battle with...whatever the hell that'd been. Hellhound maybe, but now a pile of ash on some dingy backstreet. He sighed and stared at the tangle of wires and hoses and parts that made up his engine, which had quit at the pump and had to be pushed to one of the parking spots. He was never going to make it to the Hyperion at this rate.
Rolling up his sleeves, he reached in, hissing as his fingers touched something that was still somewhat warm. Adam pulled back, running over a list of the usual suspects in his head, when he heard the cheerful call. Glancing up, the surprise registered on his face to see the young woman skipping his way.
"You're the mechanic?" He grinned crookedly as he stepped around the vehicle, hand held out. "I'm Adam."
