Babs shook her head. "You're right. You're getting the expedited treatment. It took me over a year to meet Black Canary in person and she's my best friend." Which was sad, but true. Looking back, Babs knew it would have been much so much easier to meet Dinah initially in person. She'd not made that mistake again.
"Batman doesn't invite many people to the Cave. I wouldn't feel too insulted." Which was the complete truth. Bruce didn't just give walk in tours.
Hiro was in the foyer now and Babs waited for the metal detector to confirm the lack of weapons before pressing the button to open the door which led right into her tower.
The tower could be somewhat intimidating, she knew that. There were computers everywhere and everything seemed to glow with a tinge of green. The clock face. which one could see from outdoors, provided most of the light in the room. During the day the sun shown through it and at night it lit up, further adding to the eerie glow of the room. Babs sat at a desk at the front center of the room, right in front of the clock face. There were ramps on either side of the room that led down to her station and stopped at various others along the way. In the corner of the room was a small table with a coffee maker, several dirty mugs, and three half eaten bags of oreos, the only signs that a human actually worked here.
Babs sat at the main desk, munching on said oreos and drinking said coffee. She looked over her shoulder when Hiro entered. "Hello, Hiro."
