Of course he was working. This was Peter that they were talking about, and if someone wasn't forcing him away from it, he was always busy. Actually, not all that different from him, if he thought about it. Leaning against the door frame, Gabriel peered over at Peter, tilting his head curiously to try and get a look at what he was reading. "I just wanted to talk to you," Gabriel said, lifting an eyebrow at Peter. "It won't kill you to put the books aside for a few minutes, will it?"
Not that he really had much room to talk himself, and he realized that the second that the words left his mouth. But, oh, well. Everyone was a hypocrite occasionally, weren't they?
