WHO: Tahiri Veila & OPEN to anyone at The Sanctuary
WHAT: Delivering a package to Kathy McAvera.
WHEN: Early afternoon; around 1PM
WHERE: The Sanctuary
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress
Tahiri stared calmly up at the building looming before her. She was holding a box in her arms, her chin resting on the edge of the package as she studied her destination with mild curiousity. She'd been asked to bring the package here, by Cordelia, to give to Kathy. Something about a new dress to wear to the hearing set to take place the following day. To be honest, Tahiri hadn't paid particular attention to what was in the box or anything else, just the directions on how to get to where she needed to go, then onward to the area she was set to patrol for the night.
So now here she was, standing in front of The Sanctuary, and cursing her inability to listen to someone speak for more than thirty seconds at a time. Because while she had made it here safely, and without any trouble, she couldn't remember for the life of her if Cordelia had said to use the front entrance or to go around back, and whether anyone was expecting her or if she'd have to explain who she was before being able to rid herself of her delivery.
"Really smart, Tahiri," the blonde muttered before sighing heavily. This was the home of Anakin Skywalker. This was not the place she wanted to be forgetting the wishes of the host when it came to impromptu deliveries in the middle of the afternoon.
Still, as much of a legend as Anakin Skywalker might be, even his presence wasn't going to deter the young Jedi. She'd been told to deliver this to Kathy, and that's exactly what she was going to do. So after drawing in a steadying breath and trying to ignore both of the strong presences in the Force coming from within the building itself, Tahiri made her way up the front steps and headed inside.
The desk in the corner was empty, a sign placed upon it that whoever was there had gone to lunch and would return within the hour. Hoping she didn't have to wait that long, Tahiri carefully placed the box on the edge of the desk before turning to face the rest of the room.
"Hello?" she called out, moving toward the stairs that, she assumed, led to the level where the children actually resided. "Is anyone here? Anyone at all?" She knew someone had to be there, she could still sense them through the Force. The only problem was, she wasn't sure she should be there... and really would rather whoever found her be okay with such a slight oversight on her part, if that turned out to be the case. Because for all of her talk of being bored, the last thing Tahiri wanted to do today was find herself in a lightsaber duel over an accidental breech of conduct.
So, after a brief pause, she cleared her throat and called out a little louder, "Hello? There's no one at the desk, so if anyone else could help me that'd be great."
Then, with nothing else to do, Tahiri leaned lightly against the wall and waited for someone to answer.
