"None. I'm completely human." Unlike some of the other people in this city, but Bela neglected to add her sarcastically thought comments. "Perhaps more gifted than others, but human. That's not to say I know nothing about what goes on when the sun goes down; I'm fully aware, and I do mean beyond the suburban mother who dabbles in a bit of Wiccan chanting." And weren't those the worst type? They were always bollocksing something up by messing with things they didn't understand.
There was a moment of silence as she considered the offer on the table. Even Bela couldn't deny that having the law firm on her side would be a boon to most things she went about doing. Likely they could even do something to help with her Winchester problem.
Shifting slightly, she leaned forward to look at Lilah. "You have a deal and you'll have the amulet in your hands by Saturday, probably sooner, I like to work quickly when possible," she said, her accent clipped and professional.
"There are a few other things." Bela glanced down quickly and reached into her black handbag. She pulled out a darkly stained wooden box, plain and unassuming in nature except for the engraving around the edges. She ran her thumb over the top of it before placing it down on the edge of Lilah's desk and opening it before the other woman could become too suspicious.
Nothing happened, of course, Bela simply turned it around so that Lilah could see the contents. Several Colt sized bullets. "I need a place to keep these."
