When it came to a selection of actual meals, the little store was sorely lacking. The most prominently displayed food went to the burrito. Just looking at the plastic wrapped food made his stomach turn and just about killed his appetite. He was hungry, but he wasn't that hungry just yet.
Lindsey went still when the bell on the door rang, standing on his toes to glance over the shelf that stood between him and the door. The man, slightly intimidating in size, wasn't recognizable so he sunk back down, perusing the selection of various not so healthy meals offered.
Finally he settled on a pre-made roast beef sub from the cooler and snatched a bag of chips from the rack, heading up towards the register. He pulled his wallet from his back pocket, sifting through the bills and dropping a few on the counter.
Lindsey glanced over his shoulder to see where the other customer had gone and was slightly startled to see he wasn't too far behind. Still on edge from the day's events, he turned back and kept his head down. When the change and the two items were pushed towards him, he quickly picked them up.
"Evenin'," he stated with absolute calm, nodding to Anton before he pushed open the door.
