Who: Lilith NPC: Demons and a Family What: Lilith arrives in LA When: Starting around dinner time Where: A street, and a run down house Rating: R, violence Status: Complete
It didn't take a person of high intellect to know that something was off with her current location, even a low rank demon could figure that much out quickly. She had been on the move to release the next seal. Her Halloween mischief had ended quicker than she thought it would, she had still succeeded in what she had meant to do. Of course, she also knew who had stopped the fun before it had started, which only annoyed Lilith all the more. Sam Winchester, going against what his brother and the Angels wanted. He had used his powers to stop a powerful demon. Thanks to that misfit demon, Ruby, he was only getting stronger. A fact that really, really, made Lilith unhappy. She'd see to it that Rugby got sent to hell again, and this time stay there.
The tiny blonde girl that was serving as her host body emerged onto a darkening street. Just a minute ago she had been planning the release of another seal, and suddenly she was standing alone, on a sidewalk. She was a pretty girl, long hair, the top part pulled back in a pretty braid, and tied with a ribbon. Her dress was light pink, and made for the summer. Though there was something about her face, the way she looked around her. Her movements, her expression was just dark, not how a little girl should be staring at anyone.
With out a word, she turned, and headed down the street, an almost skip in her step, a display of child like innocents that just didn't match her and the general aura she gave off.
Figuring out that the demons in this place were nothing like the ones in her world hadn't been hard. It was both frustrating, and interesting. Interesting, because it brought new potential, frustrating, because she soon found out that in this world, no seals were broken. She was back to square one. Something she would just have to fix. There were many demons in this city, most, if not almost all were below her. There would definitely be some powerful ones, but they of no concern to her at the moment. Her arrival in LA had left her without her loyal demons, those who followed her, either by will, or because she forced them to. Lilith couldn't have that. After all, she had to have her guard, just in case someone came to ruin her fun.
The little blonde child soon found herself walking into a demon hang out, she knew they were here. It was simply a run down house, a place to meet, and annoyingly enough, get drunk, or swap gossip. All sorts of them, some she was use to, others who she thought were more like something out a silly TV show. It was loud in the room that she was approaching, and she listened for a moment when she got to the door. Mindless, all of them. No direction, no purpose. Just existing, and poorly so.
A tiny hand was raised, palm toward the door. Big blue eyes suddenly went white. The doors, locked closed, slammed open, shattering as they hit the wall on either side. The noise on the other side soon died down. When Lilith stepped into the room, all was quiet. "Hi." she said cheerfully, as if she was greeting her best friend before going out to play. "Here's what's going to happen, boys." she said with a small smile. "I need some new friends. And you're all it."
Silence. Then laughter.
One demon, a nasty one, black skin, solid gold eyes stood up, holding a sword in her hand. "You shouldn't have come here, little girl." he said thickly, as if English was a struggle for him. Before he could move, Lilith raised her hands, and flicked her wrist. There was a sickening snap, and the demon fell to the ground, neck broken.
"I really don't like getting mad." she said, looking down with the demon. "Oh well!" she said with a shrug, a small childish giggle. "Now, which one of you wants to be my friend?" she asked again.
Silence, they all just watched her. A frown came across her face. "I said, who wants to be my friend?" she repeated, her voice becoming dangerous, which was even more disturbing, the threat coming from the mouth of a child.
Hands went up, and she relaxed, a bright smile coming to her face "Okay, good! I'm Lilith." she offered, skipping over to the demons, walking right over the dead one as she went. The little girl took over the now empty seat, swinging her legs back and forth. "Now, what do you guys know about the Winchester's?" her face was serious again, staring them down. Her eyes bled white, and watched them all carefully. If the Winchester's were here, she would know every single thing they had done since arriving. ----
It wasn't long after, perhaps after nine, when she emerged back out on the street. Now that she had the village idiots eating out of her hands, she needed some place to stay. There was no harm in having fun while she was figuring things out. Her eyes fell on a movie theater that was just getting out from the early show. She scanned the crowed with interest until she found what she was looking for. There, a pretty little girl with her mommy and daddy, who were busy talking to another couple outside the theaters, while the girl entertained herself with a simple toy.
A smile hit her face as she stepped forward just a little, waving to get the girls attention. The dark haired child looked up, and waved back. Lilith waved her over, still smiling. The child looked behind her to her parents, still talking to their friends, and then back to Lilith. Finally, she smiled, and then skipped over to awaiting demon.
"Hi!" she said brightly. "I'm Amanda." and offered her hand. Lilith returned her smile, and took her hand. "Lilith." she replied, then her voice changed to excitement. "C'mere, I want to show you something really cool that I found!" and pulled her toward the ally. The girl hesitated at first, staring up at the darkness. "It's okay." she said reassuringly. "No one is down there but my family, there's a door. It's safe."
Who could resist a charming smile like that? With a bounce in her step, the dark hair child followed her.
---
"Amanda?" the woman's voice called. "Amanda?" a little more frantically. "Amanda honey where are you?" added a mans voice.
From around the corner came Amanda, skipping toward her parents with a smile. "Amanda." her mom said, relief obvious in her voice and she bent down to scoop up the child in her arms. "Honey, you scared us. What did we tell you about wondering off?"
"I'm sorry, Mommy." she said softly, pouting her lips slightly.
They couldn't get mad at their little girl, it was obvious they were just relieved that she was unharmed, and safe back with them. "Just don't do it again, okay, sweetie? You could have been hurt." there were dangerous people out there after all, they just didn't know how dangerous.
The child, Amanda nodded her head in agreement, looking slightly put up, or upset. She was sorry for what she did. "Come on." her mother said, changing the subject. The crisis was over. "Lets get you home and into bed." she lowered the little girl to the ground, letting her stand on her own to feet, before taking her hand. Amanda reached up to take her fathers hand with her other one, before setting off with them.
As they left, she peered over her shoulder to the spot where she had met the blonde haired child. A small smile crept over her face, and briefly, her eyes flashed white. Lilith was here to stay for a while.
"Mommy, Daddy." she said, turning around. "Do you love me?"
