Though the girl was a stranger, Ahsoka didn't question who she was when she appeared beside her, only stayed in position, seeing without sight at the skies above them. Backup was backup in a fight, especially when said backup wasn't offering smart remarks about saving her life as someone else she knew would have. She felt the shields go up around them, not struggling against it as she recognized it for what it was – protection – even if it had a different feel to it. Different, but not Dark. Magic, perhaps? But it wasn't enough, as Ahsoka could still sense all of the suffocating sadness as before.
"Two creatures above us," she said, barely moving as she tracked the sweeping and diving movements of the creatures, chest rising and falling with the internal struggle against the effects of the creatures. "I can't see them, but I can sense them enough to 'see'. The cold, the despair, it's them. My saber goes right through them, and they still keep coming."
Ahsoka raised her arm. "This shield isn't stopping it, I can still feel it. On three, I need it gone from around me for a few seconds. I have other defenses at my disposal." Usually it was Ahsoka following orders – when she followed them – but right now, they needed to work togethe,r follow each other's cues. "Ready? One. Two. Three."
Still holding the lightsaber above her head, Ahsoka moved her raised arm in a wide sweep after she announced 'three', the Force power gathered to her sent out in a move that would normally knock back several of whatever she aimed at, be they droids or vampires. The essence of the Light side of the Force, yes, but only had her theory about what this would do.
