Cathy nodded again, the grin softening to a grateful smile as Sarah spoke. "I'm gonna keep thanking you anyway," she admitted, glancing over herself, brow furrowing. There was a feeling she couldn't quite shake, a strong sense of forgetting something that--...

The palm of her hand met her forehead sharply, an expletive or two leaving her mouth in verification that Sarah was on to something. "My cat!" she exclaimed, dropping the duffel and purse to the floor without hesitation. And then she was off, calling back to Sarah over her shoulder. "Thanks for reminding me-- I put him away this afternoon before Lindsey came over...they really don't get along."
A moment later, she reappeared with a very sour-looking ball of fluff in her arms. Angel eyed Sarah warily, even going so far as to hiss at Cathy when he placed him carefully into his carrier.
"He's mad at me," she explained sheepishly. "Um, I need to get some stuff together for him. Do you want to come inside for a minute?"
