Who: Sam and Heather. What: They're both trying to deal with their angst. As it turns out, a date might be the best distraction. When: Evening. Where: All over, really. Depends on what happens. Rating: TBD.
Sam was a little hesitant about this dating thing. Seeing Heather in general was more than enough to give him panic attacks over the fear of losing her, but actually going all out and doing the official thing? What with the flowers and the dinner and the word 'date' floating around in the air? It was intense. They'd been together for a while now, sure enough, but in all that time they had managed to bond over chaos and personal turmoil. Nothing relatively close to a real date. Unless one counted hunting and taking on scary rituals as a real date. Which Sam didn't think was right, considering. Maybe for him. But Heather? She deserved something better.
They both had a lot going on right now. But they were both also at a point in said events where they had to make with the waiting rather than the acting. Sure, Sam could have gone off and killed a good dozen vampires and demons with Ruby again -- in fact, he had planned on it -- but after talking with Heather he realized that he was probably going to be better off with her. Especially if it helped her.
So he hung around his new apartment for a while, giving her time to do whatever she needed to do in order to get ready. Then he moved on out, made a quick stop, and drove over to Heather's place. When he got there, he knocked at the door and awkwardly waited.
