She watched her drawing for a few silent moments unsure of her place here, she knew she didn't agree with the woman, what she was doing with her blood rites any of it, But at the same time Alessa had once saved her from the Pyramid Head. And wasn't being hostile here.
"Yes, This place is very good that way" she observed "I don't know what it is, I think sometimes it is the closest thing I have to memories of my home in this city."
"I am here for the same reason"
She should logically have left at that point, but something compelled her not to.
"I am tired of arguing"
Truth be told she was just tired. She suspected it was all catching up on her. Amelia, the ritual, Faith and her worries for the Slayer, Peter's intrusion, her attack on Sam, Fighting War itself, and of course, Caedus.
It seemed sometimes like Jacen was all she had. And she knew that wasn't true but it didn't make the thought leave her mind.
"Does this, being in this city ever overwhelm you?" she didn't know why she asked and yet she did. She didn't even know if Alessa would laugh in her face, walk away, or answer.
