Peter knew it was a tease, but the fact that it was something that would provoke Nathan again annoyed him enough to deliver a telekinetic smack to the back of Claude's head. He'd already warned the invisible man about Nathan. "I don't expect you to thank him," Peter said, simply. "I already broke his nose for leaving me in a lurch. I just don't feel like cleaning up the mess."
Peter nearly laughed at Sarah's obvious claim, but decided against it. Instead, he kept rubbing her neck and ears. "I think I know how to train someone by now," he said, eyeing Claude. "Like, knowing that if someone ought to calm down, a good way to help is by not pissing them off more." The man really did have a knack for saying just the wrong things, didn't he? Or maybe he just liked pushing peoples buttons.
