Making her way up the street, Katara glanced once again at Aang with a slightly worried expression. Not only was she suspicious about this meeting with some Fire Nation 'girl', but she hadn't wanted to bring Appa along. A flying bison was simply too much attention in a place like Los Angeles, she figured, and if this did turn out to be a trap she wanted to be able to lay as low as possible if need be. You couldn't do that with a giant, white animal with a blue stripe down his back.
"We'll go flying with Appa tomorrow, okay? We can go out to the ocean, where there's lots of room," she assured him, feeling slightly guilty for having yet again been the voice of reason. She was sticking by her decision, though. Besides, in a few minutes she hoped he'd be proving her wrong about this Fire Nation 'girl' he'd met. She was still suspicious, but she had her hopes that she might be wrong for once.
As they rounded the corner, Katara glanced up to take in their surroundings. This looked like the place. She didn't see anyone who might be from their world, though. Her blue eyes narrowed and she slowly stopped walking, glancing around.
"Okay, where is she?" she questioned, glancing at Aang. "We're not late, are we?"
