With a shake of her head, Cordelia reached for her water bottle and took a sip. The pills were starting to kick in and the pain was easing up slightly around her temples. She sighed quietly in faint relief.
"It isn't supposed to hurt anymore," she murmured softly, almost to herself. Her attention went to the label around the water bottle as she began to pick absently at the corner of it. For a brief second, if you looked hard enough, you could see the worry that revelation caused her. Because clearly, she must have done something wrong if she was feeling the pain again. She just didn't know what it was, or how to make it right.
With another sigh, she flashed him a smile. "Oh well. Father Mackey, a couple of blocks over, is one of the best around when it comes to the holy water," she commented before frowning slightly. "And can I just point out the fact that I am growing way too complacent in the weirdness that is my life if that sounds like a normal statement."
