He smiled at her awkward nervousness. It was endearing, but also impressive. Considering what he had apparently put her through in the past, the very fact that she could stand here with him now was an impressive testament to the strength of her character. For a brief moment, he allowed himself to wonder how he could have ever stalked a girl like this, with murderous intent. He let the thought pass...the (forgotten) past is past.
"Yeah...yeah, I could go for some food." He glanced around the food court, and was once again reminded that he couldn't even remember what kind of food he used to like. It was these little missing details that always hit him the hardest, strange reminders that he had lost the man he once was. Then again, maybe that was a good thing. "I guess...Chinese?"
