WHO: Sam Winchester's fangirls & fanboys (f!Claire Bennet, Dean & Sam Winchester implied) WHERE: ballroom/convention center in an older hotel WHEN: evening, at the same time as Operation: Aluminum Foil WHAT: "Win a Mock Wedding With Sam Winchester" RATING: PG STATUS: narrative; complete!
At seven-thirty p.m., seven-hundred and eighty-five individuals assembled for the contest available on the internet over the last three days, to win a mock wedding with Sam Winchester. Once someone knows about the contest, the website and mass spamming of fansites – and admittedly technical internet feat that one Dean Winchester would not be able to do himself – would be easy to find by anyone with a decent mastery of Google. The contest was easy enough to enter and did not discriminate as to gender, which is why of the assembled individuals, only six hundred and ninety-two are female, dressed in varying degrees of wedding dresses. The other are males, dressed in varying degrees of tuxedos and pulled together formalwear. They are all waiting for a chance to marry Sam Winchester, even if they only believe him to be the actor who plays Sam on television.
For the first half-hour, Claire helps rile them up with contests against each other over their knowledge of that Supernatural hottie, Sam Winchester. The idea behind this, of course, is to simply get them thinking like a pack of walking hormones. Of added benefit is that Claire has taped the entire thing for posterity.
At eight twenty-five p.m., when Dean finally leads Sam to the hotel on a tip, as part of the 'hunt' Dean orchestrated (and the Winchester boys' hotel room is being turned into Aluminum Foil Central), the fangirls and fanboys will have grown very restless. The Winchesters will spend twenty minutes doing their usual supernatural investigative thing before Sam gets separated from Dean by a pushy individual supposedly in charge of the contest. Sam will then be led to the ballroom of the old hotel, where he will find all seven-hundred and eight-five fangirls and fanboys quite a bit frothy at being kept waiting.
The contest will start at this point, despite Sam's objections. If Sam stalls, the coordinator will get more pushy. If Sam tries to run, the fangirls and fanboys will follow him and Dean, who has been waiting on that fact, will notify the TV station with the helicopter in the area. That footage will end up on live TV shortly after, with all the excitement and filmed dedication of a car chase.
