Jess looked a tiny bit smug for a moment, watching him carefully. She couldn’t work out why he was nervous and that made her want to know what he was keeping from her but then she didn’t think what she had found out so far was the last of it, one thing at a time. “I believe you,” only she didn’t.
“But it could with some, that’s better than nothing.” Jessica had sobered up now the topic had moved onto things, she had never been one to be overly scared at scary movies in fact she had loved them back home but now those sort of creatures were real and possibly worse than the movies then they were terrifying.
She glanced back up, her smile still in place but she was getting confused again. A room close but not the same one. Jessica shrugged, looking over at the bar a moment. “Yeah, I’d rather be closer than here, if that’s ok?”
