Seth’s smile faded at the mention of her blood. She sat up, crossing her legs on and shaking her head with a wide expression. “But I’m afraid of needles!” she shouted at Heather. Obviously, a lie, being a scientist she had a deep love for needles and syringes. Blood was a tricky thing for Seth. She had no idea what would this woman would do with a sample of her.
She wasn’t as gullible as to trust so easily.
“If I gave you my blood…Can I be around and see the ritual?” she asked, eyebrows rising in interest for what her blood would be used. “Can I take it back once you’re done? I'll let you borrow it!”
