He'd already been fighting for a good fifteen minutes before she arrived. Trying to keep Isis safe. Trying to keep everyone safe. Not thinking of himself, or how hard he was already breathing thanks to the unexpected work out and rush.
He didn't know if he wanted her out there, he didn't know if he trusted her. But he said nothing. Now wasn't the time for arguments-they could come later.
"No. I'm not going back in there!" He shouted over the sound of his weapon charging and lasers firing. Jack pulled the delta morpher license from the back of his belt and let it fall open. A glow of red seemed to ward away zombie-things for at least half a second while swat-mode formed and a black heavy set vest covered his chest. His weapons were upgraded, and that was what he needed. The two lasers were good-but against the creatures that kept coming? Not very effective.
"Behind you." He turned his back to the door as he saw movement from the corner of his eyes, and took it out with a powerful red blast of concentrated energy.
