"There's always something to do." she said looking around. "Because shit like this keeps happening." 'like this' meaning what had just happened. There was always a rogue demon, an out of control werewolf, or a blood thirsty vampire. There was even humans messing with matters that did not concern them. They had to stopped as well.
Kate wasn't that big of a fan of magic either. She left the witching to the witches. While yes, it was useful at times, and she had to admit, the witches she knew could kicked some serious ass, she preferred the hands on approach. Or the teeth and claws approach.
"Understatement of the year." she said, forcing herself to relax slightly. "This city defies all logic. That coming from me, who works with things that 'don't exist' all the time." there were werewolves right out of horror movies here, and it was so strange. And the vampires? Looked like they had acid dripped over their faces.
"Oblivion sounds fantastic." she probably should be calling Ginger, and Oz, simply to make sure the both of them were alright. They were the closest thing she had to a pack at the moment. "I'm in, I can do second round, if you want." it wasn't like she had no cash. For whatever reason she had access to the money she had back at home, and her family wasn't poor. A vampire drinking alcohol. What a crazy world.
She pulled out her cell phone for a moment, punching in a message to respected people, she had to make sure they were still alright. "Any bar you were thinking of specifically?" The Lux was so going to packed tomorrow night, with everyone celebrating again. She'd have to get her drinks in while she could.
