She nodded again, still keeping her senses pealed. "Same, honestly." she said with a shrug. Kate had seen a lot of disturbing things in her life time, that had really taken the cake though. People were not supposed to look like that. It might have been human once, but now it was just something that belonged in her nightmares. It was a good thing she bounced back from things quickly. Or she just didn't let on that it effected her.
This wouldn't be the first time she'd teamed up with a Vampire. At home, she got along with them fairly well. Then again, you didn't really 'get along' with a vampire from home, you just co-existed. Sometimes she had to wonder if breathing too much offended them. They were very...stuck up where she was from, like the popular kids in a high school. Kate found it amusing.
"Snow." she replied, feeling the cool substance against her fingers. She looked up to the sky, she knew it was snow, even if it wasn't cold enough for it. Though Ash did make sense, since it did seem like the gates of hell were opening up all over the city.
Kate swept her gaze down the city street. Small? She sort of was hoping for some place with room to move. Though if you had guns, that made sense. Kate didn't have a gun, she tended to not use them when ever possible. "I'm Kate." she replied, glancing at the woman for a second. "Yeah, no problem." she said, kind of awkwardly. She was like her father in a way, sometimes she just wasn't good at talking. Usually when exchanging things. "Just what I do, I guess." which was true. She helped keep the supernatural community in line in her world. The walking dead faceless things counted as supernatural, and out of control.
She followed behind Selene, staying fairly close, while watching carefully. How much longer was this going to last?
