She simply nodded her head, brushing a hand back through her pale blond hair. "Right." she said, looking back toward the main street. They needed to get some place safe. Problem was, she didn't know where that some place was. Was everything affected? Perhaps their best bet would be to find somewhere, clear it out, and then hold it off until this shit show was over.
Kate shook her head without looking back at the woman. "No, can't say I am." she didn't even have to look around to know she didn't. Kate had simply left thing thing behind and started to run. "My place is a good half an hour from here." she added, trying to guess at long she ran. "If you can run fast enough." she added with a second thought. "No some place closer?" Kate cocked an eyebrow and looked back at the vampire. Eve if her place was close, she wasn't going to go back there, not yet. Not with that disfigured, bound thing dragging across the floors.
Kate held out her hand in front of her, letting a few bits of snow fall into her palm. It was far to warm for snow. This place was just incredibly fucked up.
Even if she didn't know the place, she could probably still smell and hear when someone was coming their way. Kate was going to assume, that as a vampire, the woman could as well. Finally her gaze fell back on the vampire, steady, and waiting to see if they had a place they were trying to get to, or if they were just going to hope to hell they ran into some good luck.
