Molly was a bit apprehensive on the initial lift off. Her body tensed, eyes squeezed shut, but curiosity overran fear and once Molly opened her dark blue eyes—well, she had never seen the world look so beautiful. The buildings lit up like Christmas lights strung around neighbors houses, on her house, her parent’s house, at one time. Her kitten shook violently which made Molly hold onto her tighter, letting her know that she too was alright; they were in the arms of a hero.
They landed on the roof top of the Hyperion hotel and, to much of Molly’s surprise, smoothly. Clutching her still shaking kitten tightly to her person Molly gaped at Nathan wide-eyed, momentarily gob smacked for the time being.
And when words did come to her, they came in a rush: “That was so cool, Mr. Nathan Petrelli!” She gushed, bouncing on the balls of her feet. “We were in the air, like Superman, and…and…” to illustrate with a free hand, Molly mimed the take off, flight and landing with her hand zooming around in the air (sound effects were also used). Her heart was still beating relatively fast, face flushed, and a bright, benevolent smile lit up her countenance. “Los Angeles, too? I was born here and lived here until—” Well, she didn’t have to finish that sentence anyway.
As to his question Molly gazed upward in thought, furrowing her brows in concentration. “It was March, or April, two thousand and seven!” Molly chirped proudly. “It was a few months after, you know, Kirby Plaza? Where you and your brother flew and Hiro N—N…” she trailed off, giving up on even trying pronouncing his name correctly. “He stabbed the Boogeyman and then he disappeared and New York City was saved!” Of course, there was way more to it, but for the eight year old, all that mattered was the heroes saved the day and the villains were stopped.
[OOC: Hee, don't worry! *Hugs!* When I got this last night I was tipsy, so it wasn't like I could give you a speedy reply either <3]
