Jessica looked torn; she was more than a little freaked out now and frankly scared. But at the same time she trusted Sam, no matter what, only she wasn’t so sure it was actually him any more. “Pull my ear off?” She repeated, that had caught her attention, it really did sound like one big joke now. One planned by a disturbed mind.
There was still that overwhelming urge to run but the odds of actually getting away freely were against her. Jessica took in deep steady breaths, trying to pay attention to what they were saying but this on top of everything else was more than enough to make any sane person crack. “Of course I trust him,” she said distractedly, her eyes back on the knife. “One cut? I swear to god if this turns out to some sick joke..” The threat didn’t sound particularly threatening considering her state but when Jessica got mad then she got really mad, if it really was Sam then he'd know that. Reluctantly she held out a hand, squeezing her eyes shut because watching would only make her freak out more.
