Cody looked like a deer caught in the headlights for a moment as the realization of what he was saying hit him. Monsters? True, honest to God monsters? Gulping, he flinched slightly at the thought and shook his head. "Monsters?!" He squealed, a look of horror freezing on his features. Great, so kids who looked like his brother, and monsters. That, and failing the rest of his classes for a year.. No, that wasn't cool. That wasn't cool at all.
He crossed his arms over his chest when he called him a pansy. The younger boy didn't exactly know what that was, but by skillful methods of deduction he managed to pick out that he was being insulted, and while he was used to it, it didn't mean he had to like it. His eyes narrowed in annoyance and he folded his arms tighter against his chest. "I'm not a pansy, I'm just emotionally sensitive." Cody retorted, his cheeks heating up with embarrassment. "Girls like that, you know."
