Cordelia snorted. "If you're wanting healthy, the gym is that way," she pointed to the left, "and the health food shop is that way." She pointed to the right, then shook her head. "We have all sorts of liquors, but the sweet ones don't do as much most of the time." The slow burn of the tequila worked well enough for her.
Her gaze slid to the bartender. "What would you suggest? You're supposed to be the expert around here or whatever."
The man thought for a moment before giving a shrug. "'m not much of a drinker, to be honest, but I can make a martini that will go down smooth for you."
Cordelia grinned. "Martini works. Make it two of them, in fact." Since she'd just finished her beer, anyway, and needed something else to sip on. The tequila was already taking the edge off, making her loosen up a bit. So what if she hadn't helped save the world this time? At least it had been saved, right? That was what was important.
"So where are you from, Jason?" she asked, turning her attention to the man beside her. "Since clearly the answer isn't Earth."
