The second she hung up with Sarah, Cathy had dialed Lindsey's number, subjecting the poor lawyer to an unfortunate amount of excited babbling as they made plans to congratulate their friends in person. The actress was utterly unable to contain the happiness bubbling over for her best friend, chattering a mile a minute even still from the time her boyfriend arrived at her apartment until they finally reached the hotel.
Upon stepping into the lobby, it wasn't hard to find the gathered masses, the commotion a dead giveaway. Giving the lawyer's hand a squeeze, she started off in the direction of the corridor that seemed to be hosting the well-wishers crowded around the bride and groom to-be. The giddiness rose to surface again when she spotted Sarah first, and she was compelled to make the announcement to Lindsey. "There she is!"
Unwilling to interrupt, she released his hand to hover nearby. Cathy was absolutely beaming as she watched the various interactions unfold, hands clasped over her mouth as she waited patiently to be spotted. They both looked radiant, she observed, and it was taking every fibre of self-restraint in her body to keep from throwing herself at each of them in a very tight tackle-hug.
