"No, it certainly doesn't matter," Angela said as she slipped into the room a few paces behind Gabriel, her gaze sweeping over the assembly with a very vague and distant smile that marked her as being somewhere a hundred miles away.
This was...nice in a way that things hadn't been for a long time. Even if they were recovering from a major disaster, and they could possibly be thrust smack into the middle of another at any moment now, there was an aura of sheer love and jubilation radiating from this room. Angela couldn't think of a time when she had been happier or had all of her family together, happy, and safe.
Reaching out and touching Gabriel's shoulder lightly, Angela looked up at him, a smile dancing on her lips, "Think I can cut in?"
