"It was," Faith replied quietly. "But he believes he'll do it again. Believes he was targeted for a reason."
She shook her head, vehemently.
"Not got guts," she half laughed, again. "May have done for a while, really don't now."
She looked around for a while, dark eyes glancing at everything and focusing on nothing before she finally came to a decision. She would always blame the cold for her hand shaking as she tugged up her sleeve and showed him the needle mark before she pulled off the scarf to show the newer bite.
She chewed on her lip a moment before trying to smile.
