It was good it wasn't an attempt to make her laugh, as Sarah wasn't laughing, at all. But she didn't shake him. Instead, she knocked him back onto the daybed in a moment of sheer exasperation that he was still going on about glitter - and worse, in a frame of reference that implied she'd still be here to glitter up the place even if glitter were actually a concern at all.
Straddling his lap as second later, she picked up a pillow, but didn't use it, just held it.
"Peter, this isn't funny," she growled. If he made a crack about song-and-dance numbers or 80s hair or anything else, she was going to thwap him with the pillow.
