Booth took the taser from Zack. He would not admit that he was impressed that the younger forensic anthropologist had managed to make that out of a computer but he was feeling it. He turned it over in his hands, letting Bones take the reins on answering questions.
"They do here," he replied in a sing song voice as he slid the contraption in his back pocket. A small spark of something made him jump, which he discreetly covered up. "Because there's supposed to be a big war between them going on and they're picking pieces. Otherwise known as people to fight." Booth shrugged. "At least that's what I've been told."
The FBI agent scowled slightly. "No, it doesn't. Does anyone want a cup of coffee? I'm going to go get one." He pointed up at the cafe's front counter.
