The feel of his hand moving down her back gave her chills, and that, in turn, caused her to smile and laugh even more. The compliment just didn't help the fact that she was trying to keep quiet, either. It was late, after all, and she didn't feel like having Lis come in and yell at them.
"I love you, too," she whispered back.
She didn't want him to leave, but she figured it was probably a good idea. They needed their sleep, and she didn't want anyone walking in just then, wondering what the noise was. "Okay. I'll hold you to that."
