When she heard his voice there was a moment of calm, a cool breeze swept over her. Her body went flax and she held onto the bag to keep from collapsing, her cheek resting against it. The anger hadn't gone away though. Now she was a little more pissed. "But not enough to call me, let me know you're okay?" She closed her eyes, her jaw clenched to keep the tears at bay she'd been holding for days.
"I thought you were dead.. or something. Do you know how fucking crazy I've been King?" Her voice nearly cracked and she took a deep shaky breath. Some of the worst thoughts went through her head. "You asked me to marry you and then you disappear.." This is exactly what she didn't want, to act like this, like a girl.
"I'm so fucking mad at you I could hit you." Good thing for him she was too tired to attempt it. Her voice was a little softer, tired. "Where were you?" Abby didn't worry about him cheating, being with another woman, wasn't something she thought he would do. Letting out a deep breath she slumped a little and finally relented. "Missed you too. But don't you ever do that to me again Hannibal. I mean it."
